 I’ve been searching for a doll that I had as a child. It was about 14″ tall and about 8″ wide, a light purpleish-gray white colored velour with a bright pink (almost magenta) colored hair that was frizzy and stood straight out. It had a little felt flower stitched between its arm/hands and the feet were directly under the arms. The doll was pretty firmly stuffed. The arms were stitched to the little felt flower (tulip-like). The eyes were small strips of felt, the nose was hard and had a velvet feel to it, but wasn’t covered in fabric. I think it had a velvet feel glued onto it (flocked).

I only saw one other one when I was very little and haven’t seen another one ever since. I had it for as long as I could remember, and I was born in 1983. All my stuffed dolls and toys were thrown out by someone when I was 17, and I’ve been trying to reclaim a lot of them. This one was one of my absolute favorites, and also the one I have yet to find.

If you know anything about it, please let me know! I really appreciate it 🙂 Even after all these years, I still get heart-broken thinking about all my favorite dolls, and I wonder if that feeling will ever go away LOL.

    Hey!!! I think I know what doll this is! Well, I don't know the actual name, but I see these on Ebay all the time!!! That's so sad that someone threw all your stuffed friends away when you were 17! I really feel for you!! I'll look for your doll on Ebay and see if anything comes up!

    there are different color haired ones on ebay. this one is the right color

  3. Be sure not to dry yours in the dryer with heat, It will lose its fro and become matted. I do have one with lighter pink hair, slightly shorter hair.

    I'm not sure why I thought it was lavender, but even still, seeing the picture of the doll, my memory remembers it being lavender at times (my room was dark compared to the other rooms because I didn't get a lot of light, I think that's why). But it's definitely the one in the picture with the satin foot covers lol.
    I had no idea they came in so many pretty colors! I even found a couple online of a bunny and ballerina.

    PS Tami: I made the same mistake with the dryer when I was 14, and I tried for a year to brush the hair out lol.
