Searching – 2006 Old Navy BROWN & TAN FLAT SQUARE MONKEY
Cristi was able to find one, but we still have a mailing list of people looking for this flat monkey.
I am a desperate mommy! My now 4-year-old daughter fell in love with a little plush, flat square monkey from Old Navy’s from their Spring, 2006, baby monkey line when she was 9 months old. He’s kinda of a sock monkey of very soft t-shirt type material, about 9 inches, and brown with tan face and thread features.
The first monkey she had fell apart around age 2. I luckily found another one from a kind eBay seller, and now monkey #2 is worse off than the original monkey and is falling apart at the seams. He cannot even be sewn anymore and is held together by packing tape! My daughter, Lily, adores her monkey and is sad daily that he is falling apart and really, he’s not going to last much longer.
I need to find another one, because the first two are beyond repair (he wasn’t very well made to begin with!), and she cannot be without her beloved monkey, who she calls Monk-Monk.
If anyone has one, please let me know. You’d be helping out a little girl who adores her monkey!

If you have any luck finding extras, let me know! My daughter has been attached to the same “Onkey” since she was 9 months old. When we realized how much she loved it, Old Navy had already sold out of them from their Spring 2006 line. I have done all that I can to keep it from falling apart. Good luck searching!

My 7-year-old son has this monkey. he is fallilng apart. Both Monkey and my son. My son wailed (a gut-wrenching, primal kind of grief cry) for nearly an hour last night as his discovered the rip getting a bit bigger. He feels like he’s losing a loved one. I have very sad for him. We have Monkey wrapped up in a soft t-shirt like a baby bundle for right one. I have not been able to find another one. Anywhere. I will let you know what I find! Monkey is special!
