FOUND – Sia SMALL BLUE “RABBIT” with HOOD & POUCH
Hi Rosemary,
Just to let you know that the kind man at the shop that Blue Baby was originally bought from, found a pale pink one exactly the same in the back of a cupboard somewhere in the shop. Her stitching had come undone, and I guess she’d been popped away, but he offered her to Jack free of charge. My Mum & Dad have since collected it and posted it out to New Zealand. Jack is now fast asleep with Blue Baby’s Pink sister.
I think this is as close to a happy ending as we’re going to get:-) I still think Blue Baby is in the house somewhere and maybe one day he’ll turn up, but thanks again, your web site is brilliant.

I’ve finally had an answer back from the shop it came from, and the make is Sia, which apparently is a French brand. So I’m now searching the internet madly.
Hi, Our little boy had a baby blue “bunny” animal. The hood with the ears slips on and off, a little fluffy white tail, and a pouch at the front. Blue Baby was about 6 inches tall.
I’ve been trying to find out the manufacturer from the shop he was bought from, but they’re in England where my parents live, so I’m waiting for them to reply to my email. Now that I’ve heard from them, I know the brand is Sia. Here’s the same rabbit in a pink blankie style.
He’s had it since he was tiny and strokes his nose with it to get to sleep. It feels as though we’ve lost one of the family and we really just wish we could find Blue Baby, but we do feel that he has really gone this time:-(

I have a feeling this might be made by Kaloo… that’s another brand to check.
I was thinking the same thing, Ruthe. The oval mouth on the bunny looked so familiar and then it hit me; my daughter has a white kaloo bear with the same shaped mouth. I did a search on kaloo bunny rabbit, but had no luck, though. Liz, have you heard back from your parents about who the manufacturer is?

Thanks so much for your info, I’ve had a quick look today at Kaloo toys, but I can’t find a website for Kaloo themselves. I’ve also had a good look at Haba plush toys today as well. And it’s sad to say, but the shop where it was bought from have not bothered to reply to my email, so it’s nice to know that some people do care.

Thank you for suggesting Ganz. I’ve had a good look this morning, but again Blue Rabbit doesn’t seem to be there. I just wish the shop my parents bought it from would have the decency to return my email, if only to tell me they didn’t know!
