Searching – 90’s LARGE BLOND RAG DOLL Wearing PINK or NAVY BLUE PRINT DRESS, BIB, BOOTIES, BONNET
Please, please help me! I am an 18 year old girl about to leave for college, and I need my Baby Lolas! I have two Baby Lolas, (each of them I called Baby Lola), and they are about 30 inches tall. They both have light skin and yellow yarn hair. They each are wearing cloth fabric dresses with bibs, booties, and bonnets, but one has all of these in a navy blue ensemble and the other in pink. The pattern on these fabrics is hard to explain: they are diamond patterns with things like chickens, stars, houses, and hearts in the diamonds. The one that is mostly blue has big brown eyes, and the one in mostly pink has big lavender eyes. My mother has absolutely no recollection of where she got them, and the tags attached to their hips under their dresses have completely worn away.I am leaving off to college at the end of August, and honestly don’t think I can make the trip with either of them. I have had them both since I was born, and they are falling apart horribly. The blue Baby Lola hardly has arms anymore and is practically decapitated, and the pink one is well on her way. These Baby Lolas have endured 18 years of tears and dreams and nightmares, and only in the last 2 years have I been able to sleep away from home at friends’ houses without them. I love the fabric on the dresses, because it’s always cold when I lay my face on them – usually because when I’m upset or crying my face is hot, and it immediately comforts me.
I am willing to do anything to get another Baby Lola. Please, please, from the bottom of my heart, help my find another Baby Lola.
Thanks,
Anne-Marie
