DISCONTINUED - 1994 Ed Kaplan ZOO BORN MONKEY

I am looking for any Zoo Borns that you can find, but I am particularly looking for the monkey. They are 1994 Ed Kaplan Associates plush toys with flocked vinyl heads and vinyl hands and feet. Zoo Borns is printed on the foot. Here is a video with a giraffe and hippo. They laugh when squeezed, and some did come with a bottle.

I had the monkey Zoo Borns when I was about 5. I remember I took her to my cousin’s Day Care one day, and a little boy bit its head and made teethmarks on it. I was so upset. I slept with him every night until I was 14.

I spent the night with my grandmother and forgot him at home. Mom didn’t put him in my bag. My house burned down that night, and I lost Monk Monk and my Dad all at once. It was a hard time in my life.

That was 10 years ago, and I have been searching for them ever since. I still haven’t found any of them but the hippo. Thank you so much, and if you ever find a monkey please let me know.

There’s usually a sentence at the top of a post saying there’s a mailing list, and they are in that Category, too, so that will save you some time.
