Searching – 2000 Small RUSS ROXIE YELLOW & ORANGE TERRY LION with LARGE TRIANGLE NOSE
Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders we now know that Heather is looking for a RUSS Roxie lion.
My son has lost a yellow terry lion with orange brown mane purchased possibly in the US or England in 2000. It is approximately 7 inches tall with beans in its tummy, a huge smile and a very large triangle nose. We think it may have been bought in New York, as my sister lived there at the time and my mother visited her regularly. I have never seen a similar toy in the UK.
My mother (no longer alive) bought the lion for my son when he was born. He was born very premature and spent a lot of time in the hospital until the age of about five. He slept with the lion every night until a few weeks ago, when we think it was left somewhere we were staying in Scotland. It has not been found by the hotel, and he has not slept properly since.

Guys, I just found out that this little fellow is a Russ “Roxie the Lion!” 🙂
Thank you. Now the challenge is to try and locate one but it is really helpful to know what make and model it was.
Gone for now may be worth keeping an eye on.
