Searching – CURLY Shaggy Chenille Pink Monkey with Long Arms Top Priority

Fur was originally CURLY. The similar Wild Republic monkey has been tried and does not work for Shelia’s granddaughter.
I’m looking for a pink chenille monkey with velour face, Velcro hands, and feet that is maybe 12 to 14 inches long. It has large black plastic eyes and a black thread mouth. The shaggy chenille is a mixture of light and dark pink. It has very long arms compared to the legs.
My granddaughter lost her “Pink Monkey” while she was having a checkup at the Nebraska transplant center. You see Chassidy had an intestinal transplant when she was 18 months old. In January of 2009 she went into a coma. When she came out of the coma May 2009, she had to learn everything all over again. This Monkey became her best friend, and they have been together until 2 weeks ago. We live in Alabama, so during an airplane ride and a lay over in Chicago, she went missing.

Oh my word, I to am looking for my three year old daughter’s lost pink monkey, he is IDENTICAL to your missing monkey.I know what you are going through. My daughter cries and cries for her monkey, she wakes up in the middle of the night screaming. This makes me cry all over again. I pray you find monkey. Did she get hers at toys r us? If you get more than one offer could you pass the information to me. Emmy has had hers since birth 2009. It even wore a body cast like my daughter. I would greatly appreciate it. It to was my daughter’s best friend through her hospital stays. Thank you and God Bless you and your granddaughter!!

look a lot like “PInk Monkey” but they have long legs and differant type hair. I have bought a few and tried to modify them to look like her monkey but that was a flop.
