Searching – 60s Knickerbocker White & Red Checked Elephant
I’m looking for a Knickerbocker red and white stuffed elephant plush from the 1960s. It is 15 inches based on online research, red and white checkered, with white on the inside of the ears, and a white trunk.
My Mom had this toy given to her from her Grandfather at birth. She kept it around her whole life and, absolutely LOVED it. Sadly it got ruined damaged beyond repair, when it was put in storage when we moved. If anyone knows where one is it would make my (and my mothers) whole year and more. Because it is such an old toy, I had a lot of trouble actually finding any information on it and I honestly don’t hold a lot of hope to find it, but I really want to try.

I had one too! Over several moves and divorces it was lost. I am also looking for a replacement, and it was one of my most loved stuffed animals. I am 48 yrs old, so your information above dates it perfectly for me. I would LOVE it if I could find another one. Thank you
