My daughter lost this lion. She got him from her Grandma when she was sick at three years old and carried the lion everywhere for years. At 11 years old she still misses this lion named teddy like crazy!! I just wanted to surprise her by trying to replace him if possible.
She lost it once before and we actually ran a article in the local paper of her with it and people started giving her lions that didn’t even look like it! It was funny because my grandma found it in her closet later and she said oh yeah; We were playing hide and seek, and I said well I guess teddy won!
Well this last time she lost it was mine and my husbands fault. She got head lice in the second grade, I was told to bag up all toys so that there was no air. It took so long to get rid of that lice my husband said what do you want to do with these toys and I whispered throw them out! I wish I would have looked through that bag. I know he was in there. I found a lion that looked exactly like him for twenty five bucks and she was so excited when I showed her! Then she said he doesn’t have the belly button hole and it just isn’t the same.
