I am looking for a 2006 lavender baby blanket we received for my daughter when she was born. It has small purple flowers all around the thin border and some purple and green embroidered flowers in one corner. It may be all cotton, but the tag is quite faded. It may also have been Carter’s, but I’m not sure. It did come with a very tiny matching hat of the same material and style.

I’ve been trying to find a replacement for her current one, as the embroidery is beginning to tip around the edges, as is the border, which we’ve found very difficult to repair. My daughter loves this blanket. At nearly 7 this is really the one thing she has ever latched onto. She asks for it when she’s sad, tired, scared, and sick.

I just realized how important it was to find a replacement on our recent trip when I thought it had been left behind.
