FOUND – 2003? GUND Pottery Barn Kids Black Cat???
When someone contacts us wanting a stuffed animal that we do not have in stock, I always do a search on eBay, then on Google, and check out some of my favorite research sites, looking for pictures and more information. Sometimes we are able to steer the reader to exactly what they were looking for. If not, we try to post their email request here as quickly as possible.
We received an email today from Wendy, wanting a GUND small plush solid black cat, made for Pottery Barn Kids about 3 years ago.
If you have one of these kitties and could send me a picture, I will add it to this post. Or, even better, if you have one you would be willing to sell, please contact us, including #010106 in the subject,, and we’ll send her your email address.

I’m sorry I don’t have what you’re looking for but I think the service you provide is wonderful!
Thank you, Hsein Lei! Coming from you that’s quite a compliment! By all means, folks, take some time to check out her Play Library site.
Awww. You’re so sweet! I actually linked to Plush Memories today!
Great idea for your site!!
Thanks for stopping by mine!
And thanks for stopping by here, too, Melissa!
If you’ve had time to look around, I think you’ll see what I meant about adults cherishing the memories of childhood toys. So I’ll say it again … by all means save that three tummy buttoned doll. Your daughter will have some interesting stories to tell about her.
Thanks to all for their help , a great big shout out to MAR
Black Kitty was found bought and sent to her new home
From the dad
“Got back from our Thanksgiving vacation to find the new member of Meg’s Cat family. (Now consisting of four children cats, 1 mommy cat and of course, Elmo the daddy). Meg loves him and he’s been welcomed into the family with open paws. She’s named him Black Cat…she refused the junior moniker. “
From the mom
“Last night she was referring to (old) Black Cat and (new) Black Cat as “the twins”! So cute. She opened the box and found him inside and said “oh! a new Black Cat! He’s so soft!” because of course old Black Cat is kinda crusty by now… 🙂
Thank you so much for sending N.B.C. “
Thanks again
MAR is the reader who wrote us and told us about the Pottery Barn black cat on eBay.
That’s the premise of this blog in a nutshell. The more eyes there are looking for a lovey, the more chance there is of it being found.
Thank you for sharing the story of “the twins” with us.
