My son had a bunny he was given the day he was born. It was white with floppy ears and a pink and blue tummy that was kind of like chenille. The most horrible story- he went in to have his tonsils out, and they let him take bunny.

The nurses THREW IT AWAY! It got sent with the bed drape to the compactor, and he’s GONE! They won’t let us go through the garbage due to medical waste, and my 6 year old is DEVASTATED.

I would love to find a replacement. I wish I had a brand name, but I don’t. It was purchased at the Grove City Medical Center’s gift shop in 2001. (The gift shop is now out of business). I have been going through so many pics to see if we had a snap of it, but it’s always under a blanket or something.

If this bunny sounds familiar to anyone, we are so desperate to find one.

Jayne did write to say that they found one that my son thinks is his bunny’s “cousin.” It is sort of working, but still not the same….
