Hi Rosemary! Thanks to all the readers who have been keeping an eye out for Iris’s blanket! One woman sent me a link to Ebay about a week ago for this blanket. My sister-in-law bid on it earlier this week and won it!

I can not believe that there has been another one found. I won’t need two. Although I shouldn’t say that, since we had 2 to begin with. But I am pretty confident that this one will get us through.

I worked the past few days, or would have written you when she won the other. I do appreciate all of the help from people all over. I recommend the site to everyone and hope that another lost lovie can be found.

My daughter has a very old Carter’s blanket that she has had since she was a baby. The blanket originally had blue, pale green and pink bears on a white background. It was cotton with no border.

After many years of love it is gray and has been tied together, so that it now resembles a rope instead of a blanket. She actually had a replacement that was lost at a hotel in Pennsylvania while she was spending the weekend with her dad. I have searched in every 2nd hand store for miles every time I go in and at garage sales.

If you know of anyone that has one, I would love to purchase it for her. She is 9 yrs old now, but still sleeps with her blanket every night.
