I bought my son a stuffed elephant at the Fort Worth Zoo on his first birthday (he is now 3). It became the “lovey” that he never lost sight of….until a few months ago. We moved to a new house and somehow “ABEY” got lost.

I have loads of pictures, but I don’t know the brand name. The tag rubbed out about 400 washes ago! It is a little grey beanie elephant. It’s floppy and lays on its tummy. It has a little black fuzzy ball on its tail. It has little white tusks and if you look really close, there is a little mouth that opens under the trunk.

He will not stop asking for it and demanding that I know where it is. He asks to call his dad at work to ask about it almost daily. He tells people that the garbage man took it, and that a baby stole it at the grocery store. Bedtime is still a struggle and I have searched the globe for a replacement.

I don’t know what else to do. HELP!
