Searching – Walmart “Build a Bear” BROWN MONKEY with CREAM FACE, HANDS, FEET
Nanni the monkey was built at Walmart for my niece, by my sister when she found out she was pregnant. At the time, they had a Build-a Bear like shop in the store.
My sister believes that the tag “may have said” DanDee, but she’s not sure. Nanni is about 12 inches long. She is a dark brown. Her fur is silky and her ears, feet, and face are a light cream color and almost a felt material.
Nanni is my Niece’s lovey. Nanni was mistakenly sent out with the laundry at a hotel, and the resort staff is less than confident about her possible return. Needless to say, this is NOT the happiest place on earth and I NEED a Nanni.
A little girl’s heart is broken, and anything you can do would be appreciated.

If it’s the type that you stuff youself, it would have one of these 3 in the back: velcro closing, zipper, or regular stitch (like build-a-bear). Do you remember which one she has?

This looks like a Nanco Animaland toy. They are the kind you build and stuff yourself. You could check the name on ebay and see.
