Mimi is searching for the Golden Brown bear, not the dark brown bear in the photo.
I’m searching for a teddy bear with a pull string in its back that talks. I had one in England when I was little and lost it on the plane when we moved to the U.S. It was about 12-15″ tall, golden brown and spoke with a man’s British accent, saying such things as “Hello, I’m Talkative Teddy,” “I like toast and honey,” and “Let’s have a picnic.” It is circa 1960’s, made by Burbank Toys, and came out about the same time as Chatty Cathy doll.
Any news of my little buddy would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently looking for the voice box for this bear…
Basically my mum has got one from when she was little but the voice box is broken and I wanted to replace it for her and give it to her for christmas.

I have the light brown one of these bears, the string broke on the very first day I got it, but I’m sure once the string is fixed everything else would be working find.
