Thanks to our Fabulous Finders, we now know it is a Bearfoots by Big Sky Carvers, A bear named Haley. Martha would like duplicates, if anyone locates one.

I’m looking for a bear that is dark brown with tan and white on its body. The paws and large feet have white foot pads. It is about about 7 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It is holding a small tan bear.

I am seeking assistance in finding a replacement for this little bear on behalf of a dear friend, Robin. The bear is a favored toy of Abi, Robin’s Havanese puppy. Robin had a Jack Russell Terrier named Tessie. Tessie was 14 and had many health issues. Robin had to make the decision to end her suffering, and it was a devastating one. Tessie had been her constant companion for all those years. Her heart was broken and so were the hearts of all who know her as they knew how much Tessie was loved and how much she meant to Robin.

Then the debate began-to get another pet or not. Prayers offered for Robin brought about what I believe to be small miracle, perhaps even a large one, and she found Abi. Abi weighed three pounds when she went home with Robin. She is a precious bundle of joy, white with caramel markings, so smart, so beautiful and so much company. Joy has returned to Robin’s heart and home and she is the light of Robin’s life.

Whether you are a dog person or not, if you know the origin of this bear or know where we can find one, please reply. Our furry friends are part of God’s creation, too. The picture was taken when it was new, and it is now worn and tattered. Abi still loves it, though! Please help us find another “lovie” for Abi!
