I am looking for a Carter Prestige Doll, Item #24474. It is a large blond yarn hair doll wearing a pink velour sleeper and matching bonnet, with pink satin ruffle, collar, footies, and cuffs. There is a small satin bow on the back of the ruffled bonnet.

I have a 6 yr. old daughter who received this doll as a baby gift. It has never left her side. She calls this doll “Soft Baby”. It has become a part of our family.

Unfortunately – “Soft Baby” has seen better days. Due to all of the love given to her, she has faded into a limp little doll. Her clothes are so thin and transparent. I am afraid to wash her, not knowing whether or not she will come out in one piece. I do not know what we will do when this doll falls apart. My daughter truly is attached to her and loves her very much. If there is anyway you can help me locate a new doll or one in very good condition I would really appreciate it.
