My daughter has lost her beloved “Bubbie” blanket.

Bought at Walmart in 2004
Plush on one side, satin on the other. Big plush heart on one corner, little plush heart on opposite end.

Lindsay loves her Bubbie. It is her friend. She takes him everywhere, which is why we lost him at the mall. She is not sleeping well without him, because she rubs a corner of the satin backing to soothe herself.

She often plays quietly putting Bubbie to bed and rubbing his “back” until he falls asleep. I tell you, I can’t decide who’s heart is breaking more over the loss of Bubbie … me or her.
