Pat is looking for a doll that is similar to this photo, but hers was not curled up and her eyes looked straight ahead.
Hi Rosemary,Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to offer as I search for a doll I was given about 1953 from my grandparents in Texas. My childhood was very unstable, and I suspect that I was given this to comfort me after I had to leave my beloved grandparents. This was one of three dolls I ever owned. My baby was long ago sold in a garage sale or thrown away by a caregiver.
I would love to purchase a replacement, or just have a photo, even though I’m now a 60 year old grandmother.
• Plush Doll
• May have been an Eden
• Hard plastic faced
• Dressed in soft pink bunting (not terry and not chenille)
• Could have had short, yellow, yarn bangs but those may have been painted on
• Not musicalThank you so much for your help.
Regards,
Pat
