My girlfriend and I adopted a wonderful little girl from Guatemala almost 2 years ago. On the night we first met her, and she left her foster mother, the very first toy she latched onto was her “woobie” (which we since learned to be “Manhattan Toys” Lou the Lamb”).
She had not been around any men and the woobie was the first thing that I was able to touch my daughter with and soothe her fears.
We have since learned the toy, which was given to us as a 2nd thought, turned out to be the most cherished toy our little Maria has. She strokes it to go to sleep every night. To replace this one would be a blessing, and we have had no luck, as it seems to no longer be made.
Any help would be appreciated,
