We sold Andrea the pink and white versions of this little bunny from our Catalog, as well as a bear angel in yellow. She’s still looking for more of these little Carter’s angel animals.
I ordered it for my 2 year old girl. She already has one that she got as a gift from a friend that still lived in the U.S. before she was born. I used to place it in her crib since she was about three months old. Then, when she was about 5 or 6 months old she started sucking on the satin wings, and it became her pacifier. To this day, she does not sleep without it. She sucks on one wing, rubs the other one on her cheek, or she rubs the bottom of the feet or the middle of the ears, where there’s satin.
Needless to say the first one is basically destroyed, because I need to wash it just about every day. Since she got teeth, she also bites the wings. She already tore the first satin cover – we covered them with satin again – she already tore that. My Mom, who is a seamstress has made new wings (but they are not the same as the originals). We replaced only one, so she could get used to it, but she still likes the old original one better. I don’t know if we cannot find the exact same satin, or if the filling we use is just not right, but she likes that satin and that filling on the old one.
We looked everywhere in Brazil and could not find anything not even close to it. My friend went back to the store where she bought it and could not find another one. I’ve been looking for it on the net for almost a year now. You are the only site I found that ships to Brazil. My hope is she will “adopt” the new bunny, which she calls “munny”. We are very thrilled.
I found out there is a collection of these Little Angel toys. There’s a yellow bear and a blue dog with a spotted brown face, so cute, that I would like to get as well. I wanna make sure I have enough of them for a while. Even when she drops them, she will have them to remember.
