Can you replace watch batteries in lovies that make sound when pressed? Here’s a tip from a comment that may be a big help to all those families looking for PRESS musical plush animals and dolls!
If you try it on your damaged lovie, please let us all know how it works out for you.
My son has the Kids II Rae bunny, and the song player stopped. I searched all over for a new ‘Rae Rae’ for him. When I was unsuccessful, I decided to open her back up and found that you can replace the batteries in her (they are watch like batteries). I replaced them and then just re-stitched her back up. Saved us a lot of heartache! Hope this helps someone out.
I would really like to know if anyone has been successfull when they tried to replace watch batteries in a press lovie.
The Luv n Care Tickle Toes lovies seem to have some of the longest lasting batteries of all the Press lovies. I rarely ever have to discount one because it no longer giggles.
I tried to open one up a different lovie brand one time, but I could not figure out how to get into the battery container. Maybe I should try it again on a few more of our lovies where the batteries ran down in storage.
