When my daughter was born in October of 2003 she received a Peter Rabbit gift set, which included a pink cable-knit blanket and matching one-piece romper. Both had Peter Rabbit embroidered on them. On the blanket, Peter was centered at the bottom edge.

She quickly outgrew the romper, of course, but really came to love the blankie. She lost it last summer, and for weeks she didn’t notice (I was so grateful, because I realized it was gone right away, but couldn’t find it anywhere!). But once she realized it was gone she was quite distraught, and still, months later, is nearly to tears when she remembers it. She asked me tonight if we could put up posters, so people could help us find pink blankie — I’m really hoping someone can help us out!

There are many fleece Peter Rabbit blankets, and doll-blanket loveys, but this is 100% cotton, light pink, cable-knit crib-sized blanket. If anyone comes across one, we’d be so grateful!
