I’m looking for a 70’s Gund white furry monkey – not quite a baboon, but closer to baboon than a regular monkey. It had a white shaggy fur body with a little cap of tan hair on its head. It had a long projecting orange rubbery face, and orange rubbery feet and hands.

You could make it pick its nose or stick its thumb in its mouth. It had a pretty ugly grimace on its face, and its eyes were beady blue and hard plastic.

I had this baboon when I was a kid, and it was my favourite toy. Mine didn’t have a dress, so I always presumed it was a boy! My best cousin gave it to me before my family left England to live in Australia, and I never saw it again. If anyone knows where I can get one now, I would be very grateful.
