Yesterday the mail came and Claire heard a rattling sound in a package and looked at me with bright eyes and a smile and screamed “where did you get this?” She knew immediately that it was “teddy.” She was so thrilled. We were going to try and hide it til Christmas for a surprise, but the rattle gave it away!

I’m looking for a Carter’s white bear wearing a print sleeper with a ruffle collar. It has a rattle in it.

My daughter is almost 12. She was given “Teddy”, as a baby and he has not left her side, until 2 weeks ago we went to the Dells and she left it in the Hotel–the Hotel never did find it. I went to a Carter’s outlet, and they said that they haven’t sold the set for over a decade–hence, when my daughter got it. (the teddy bear was originally part of a gift set with the bear, a rattle and I believe a washcloth.)

I just thought that it would make a wonderful surprise for a wonderful little girl.
