What a great THANK YOU NOTE from Miry!!!
Karen has found and posted to me the cat I was looking for. My daughter has just taken it back to her bed with her! And I have seen her jumping of joy for having the Purple Cat back!! I feel blessed to see my little girl sparkling with happiness.
I need to say Thank you to Karen for finding and contacting this company. She has been so generous with her time.
Also, Thank you to Emma from the AFB PLC company, who are the makers of this kitten. She posted the replacement at no cost or whatsoever to Karen.
And Thanks so much to you Rosemary for running The Plush Memories Lost Toys Service. It is very kind of you to offer help to everyone who needs it.
As a parent who has gone through the pain to try find either the plush cat or the replacement, I feel sorry for all those parents who haven´t been so lucky to find their child´s beloved soft friend. I will keep my eyes open, just in case I can help someone else!
The greatest happening of this experience is that I did find very helpful people after all!!
God Bless!
Many Thanks and all our Best Wishes,
Miry
We now know that it says Cuddly Kitten by Just 4 Giving on the tush tag.
My daughter has lost her most loved purple cat. She is soo sad, and cries for it. We lost it in High Wycombe Buckinghamshire, England, where we live. I just don’t find any website in the UK where I can tell the world my daughter has lost her loved cat.I would be very grateful if we find one like hers or a similar one. She was playing with it every day, so in the pics you can see all the decoration she put in the cat. (There is jewelry in her hair seen in the photo that is not original.) These were taken just a day before the cat got lost!
My daughter still thinks he is going to come back. I could get a similar one, but in pink. However, my heart cries when I hear that she still waits for the purple cat!
I made posters to stick around downtown to let people know I was looking for it. I was very frustrated, because neither the local newspaper nor the charity shop wanted to help me. The first one kept on saying that “the next week”, and the charity shop manager said that they are just concerned about people who are dying of hunger. Or even worse, the lady at the till (cash register?) told me “If you find something like this on the street, you put it in the bin (trash can)”!.
Then the famous English shop “Mark and Spencer”‘s manager said that the windows of the shop belong to the shop, so I couldn’t possibly put my ad there. The funny thing about this shop is that it advertises itself as “Your Mark and Spencer”, but when it came to ask for help to find my daughter’s loved purple cat I could clearly see that they are only interested in my money. So nobody could know I was looking for the cat, as it was not posted anywhere in town.
I would be very grateful if you could actually post it. Maybe by chance, someone around the world has just the same cat!
My little daughter would be soooo glad to have him back.
Many Thanks,
Miry
