Hello, I am looking for a small plush duck. My grandmother got her for me Easter of 1988. Ever since then, the duck has been close to me. I am about to graduate from college, and she still sleeps with me.
Why am I looking for another one? Well, 21 years of love has worn my duck nearly down to nothing. She has big holes all over, and she isn’t any color resembling yellow anymore.
My grandmother and I have spent the past few years looking for another one, but we never found another one like mine. My grandmother passed away last summer, and I feel like I need to finish what we started and find another one.
She got the duck from a Roses department store in Albany, Georgia in April of 1988. If you cannot tell from the picture, the duck stands about 8 inches tall.
You have no idea what it would me if I could find another copy of my beloved duck. I would retire my current duck to a shadowbox where she can start her life of retirement.
