Alpana says this photo is very similar. The difference is that she’s looking for an elephant with his trunk pointed 90 degrees from his face, and it was all that same pink (without a white belly).

I’m looking for a light pink elephant that was purchased in 1989 at the St. Mary’s hospital gift shop in Laval, Quebec. It was rather stiff, the trunk was pointed outwards, it had black eyes, and it was seated. It was fairly simple and probably the height of a pop can. I think over time it became a lighter almost whitish pink that could have been because of how old it was. There was a seam down the middle of its belly, but it wasn’t completely visible.

This toy has meant a lot to me, considering it was bought for me the day I was born, and I had carried it throughout my childhood.
