I am in need of a Carter’s Smiley Happy Giraffe with a rattle on the inside. My daughter was 3 months premature and needless to say I had to provide her with something to keep her company for the four months in the hospital. I would keep him with me while at the hospital so that it would carry my scent and put it in the crib with her when I had to leave.

My daughter is now 2 years old. She named the giraffe Na-Na, and they have been inseparable ever since. She would put the tail to her face while she was trying to go to sleep at night. Na-Na must go everywhere with us, because he is the sole object of comfort for my daughter when she irritable on car trips or just sleepy.
We lost Na-Na about 2 weeks back at a Target store. I have been calling and visiting that store at least every other day.

My daughter actually cries herself to sleep looking for Na-Na. She has been sleeping in the bed with me ever since. I know that it is a bad habit to start, but how else do you comfort a 2 year old who is heartbroken because she lost something that she has had her entire life.

I would be grateful if anyone had one or knew where I could buy this giraffe or any one in its series. I do know that you can no longer buy this particular giraffe in the stores.
