Here’s the happy reunion story!
OMG. I gave up looking and last night when we had more drama, we said a very strong prayer and so this morning I showed up to work and something told me to search ebay. The very first thing I typed in was White baby lamb (keep in mind that in the past I have had to type different versions of white lamb to have anything pull up) and there she was….I FOUND HER!!!!!! It was exactly her….the same feet, the same eyes, the same fur and the same size….WE FOUND HER! I couldn’t click on the “buy now” button fast enough. But I got it and the lady has already prepared the shipping label and sending off today so I will have before this weekend. I’m sitting here shaking uncontrollably and crying my eyes out. I’m so excited. The strangest part is that the seller of the lamb is a seller on ebay for books, not stuffed animals. I couldn’t believe it, and now I know deep in my heart that prayers are answered, you just have to be listening.
I already have a plan on how I’m going to give it to her. We are going to go look at Christmas lights and then go to the church where they have a huge light display as well. Before we show up, my friend is going to present this white box with big beautiful gold ribbon to a church worker, so that when we show up and meet them and she introduces herself to them, they will say, “Oh wait, you are the Boston we have been waiting for. Wait right here because we had something delivered for you.” They will then come out with the box and when she opens it there will be Lambie with a note from a little Angel that found her in a trash can and knew that she had been looking for Lambie but needed to get her fixed up and clean so that she could return her back.
Once I have the pictures of the night, I will send your way. You honestly were a huge part in the search for Lambie and without your help and kind words, getting thru all this would have been a lot harder on us.
With all of our love,
Carly and Boston too!
I thought I had already added that this might be a Stephan lamb, but I see I had not!
We lost my daughter’s love…Lambie! It’s made of a very soft material. It’s about 12 – 13 inches long, and the body is filled with something that feels like beads mixed with maybe cotton (not sure). It doesn’t stand upright at all, more like laying down unless propped up like the picture. It might be a RUSS, but I’m not sure.
She came home with her from the hospital and has never left her side since, and she is now 7 years old.
We left her on a park bench, and when we returned she was gone. We are completely devasted. I hope that you can help fill the void of this complete devastation with my daughter Boston.
I am still searching and have been at a point where I still don’t know where to start, but I’m still holding out for a bit of hope.
Thanks,
Carly
