There have been several people asking for more information about this monkey. His name is Rutherford III, and he was made by RUSS, Item #601 (TP-14).
I am looking for a tan colored stuff monkey ( small /medium size) that was sold in Cracker Barrel stores in the early 1980’s. It had holes in its nose, mouth and ears that you could stick its fingers and toes in. It was my favorite toy, and it has been misplaced after all these years. I do not know the name brand, nor do I have a picture of it. If anyone can help me locate this monkey, please let me know.
