I think I found it!!

My first clue was when I was going thru my bag of receipts from the past 2 years. I found one for Petco dated Jan 7, 2008. It had 3 things my husband was buying for his fish tank, plus one other thing. It said on the receipt “RB CHESHIRE TABBY” $5.99.. Which clearly is not something for a fish tank! LOL I went to Petco with no luck. So I was searching for RB … Which turns out to be Russ Berrie! And the Cheshire part is the next big part of the clue!

So I searched for Russ Berrie Cheshire, which led me to my cat … and I bought 2!!!

I found this website while trying to find a lost lovie. It has been gone almost a week now. It is a small white kitty with a pink bow. I was thinking it was Gund (actually a RUSS), but I really don’t know. I bought it in the last couple years, so it is fairly recent. I have checked some of the stores I bought it at with no luck. And my not really knowing so much about it is making it difficult to find. It is not so furry and about 6″ long.

I am trying to find it because it was mine, but I let my son play with it. It was turning into his own lovie. He is only 1 year old and probably doesn’t know it is gone, but I do, ’cause it was mine.

I couldn’t even read this website at first because it made me cry. All these lost lovies and all these people who are sad because they are gone. It is a great thing you are doing here.
