Searching – Animal Adventure? FLOPPY TAN Lying Down DOG
Karen is still looking for this dog. Our Fabulous Finders have found many close ones, but not the right one yet.
The second photo is of a Walmart dog with the face and ears and body of Sherman, but different color fur. Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders, we’re now fairly sure that Karen is looking for an Animal Adventure dog.
I’m looking for an Animal Alley dog from Toys r Us or perhaps a Dan Dee. I’m not quite sure. He is shaggy, floppy, tan, and the bottoms of his feet are white. His nose is big and black, and he has tiny little eyes.
My now 7 year old son Gus lost his favorite stuffed dog Sherman about three years ago, August of 2007 I think, at a friend’s lake cabin on Flathead Lake in Montana. Sherman is part of the family, and my son still wakes up periodically crying for him.
My other two children still have their snuggies, and it’s sad to see him empty-handed. I pray one of your readers can help us out. I’m begging for help! We’ve tried Ebay and everything else I could think of. When I came across your web site, I thought my prayers were answered.

Are the face, nose and ears the same color as the back? Ears long or short?
Is the ribbon blue or lavender? The ribbon reminds my of Mary Meyer plush. Was ribbon original? Appx. size? Appx year purchased? Beanie and plush? thanks for the info. Helps in the search.

Thanks for helping in the search! Yes, Sherman’s face, nose and ears are all the same color brown. It is the original ribbon, too and it’s blue and white checked. He is about 12-15 inches long. My son got him in 2004. My in-laws swear they got him at Toys r us, but I don’t think so. Sherman is plush. I don’t believe he has beanies in his bottom. Thank you sooooooo much for helping! Karen
