, FOUND – 80’s Target? BROWN DOG with FAT CHEEKS & PINK TONGUE STICKING OUT I’m looking for a faded brown dog-like plush animal with floppy ears and fat cheeks. It also had a little pink tongue that stuck out below its nose. I think the dog originally was manufactured for Target in the 80’s. It was about 16-18 inches tall, but I am not completely certain.

My girlfriend has had this same plush toy since she was two years old. She recently went to China to study abroad for a year. Not too long after arriving in the country, a taxi driver stole her luggage with Fred (the name she has given to her stuffed toy) inside. I would love to find another plush toy just like the one she lost if at all possible. She is still overseas, and she is having a bit of a tough time, so I would love it if I could find a replacement to take to her whenever I go to visit in November.

  1. Hello. I had this same dog when I was young (I’m an 80s girl). I believe it came with a red scarf maybe a hat too? I think it was from Target at Christmas time. I have seen this more than once at a few thrift stores and garage sale. I will keep my eye open for one for you. Best Wishes!
