Searching – 2005? Target Russ? Cisco? SMALL TAN Seated DOG
I’m looking for a seated dog, about 6 inches tall, with floppy stuffing. I think the stuffing is beans, but he isn’t a Beanie Baby. He is light tan with darker tan ears. He has a down turned black mouth, a hard black nose and dark brown eyes with a big black pupil. He originally had a silky, red bow. It was purchased at Target 5 to 10 years ago. We think it could possibly be a Russ or Circo brand, but we’re not sure.
We lost our 5 year old daughter’s favorite stuffed animal, Ruff Ruff, on vacation 3 months ago. We thought she’d eventually find a new best buddy and move on. Well, Ruff Ruff seems irreplaceable. Each night she prays that we would find him. We would love to find the same model for her.
Any direction you could give toward finding another one would be helpful.

I know this puppy is NOT the one you are searching for but it is similar besides color? I am wandering if Ruff Ruff is a Shanghai Toy brand puppy.

These are really close! Makes me think he might be a Shanghai Toys dog. We’ve tried close matches, but just don’t quite measure up to her best friend. Thank you so much. I think I will also call Target and see if they might know.

Seems close may not be exact. Does appear to confirm Target had this brand at the that time.
