Searching - SMALL BROWN Beanie BEAR with NUBBY FUR

I’m looking for a small (6-7 inch) brown bear with sort of nubby or loopy fur. It had a loose beanbag body, a soft nose, lightly stitched mouth, black plastic eyes, and very little detail. The tags were long gone, so we have no idea of the brand.

My son lost this wonderful bear, whom he told stories to and about, sang to, slept with, etc. He was a simple but really wonderful bear, and we all miss him. My son is alright — he only wakes up crying because he can’t find him in bed every once in a while — but he talks about him and misses him.

We would love to find a replacement.

When did you originally get the bear? My son has two that look a lot like yours, but one is blue and the other tan. He got his when he was born 11 years ago. They came from Toys R Us and I think they are Animal Alley brand.
