FOUND – 70’s Knickerbocker PUPPY LOVE DOG Wearing RED SHIRT Top Priority
Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders, Angela was able to find her Puppy Love.
I’m looking for a 70’s Knickerbocker somewhat Snoopy looking dog. Puppy Love as I called him was probably about 8-12 inches sitting, his attached shirt was long sleeved and red, and in white letters said Puppy Love on his chest. He had soft, furry black ears that hung down, and his paws were white. I don’t think he had a tail.
He got me through a lot of doctor’s visits for tubes in my ears. My grandmother machine washed him, and he came out of the dryer hard as a brick. He ended up being thrown out when I was in my teens.
I now have to go in for a surgery on my brain, as I was just diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. I would love to have him along for the journey to hug.
Thank you in advance,
Angela

Hi Angela,
I was given this dog on my first Valentine’s day by my father who is now deceased. I have been looking on and off on ebay for the same dog for about 5 years now because I thought it might be nice to have more then one. I would be happy to send you a picture of what mine looks like now to help on the mission to find you a replacement. I do know that he was given to me in February 1978, and probably came from Kmart. Back in that time all they had in our town was Kmart.
If you would like another picture of Puppy Love Snoopy, I would be happy to send you one. Also, Puppy Love is faintly written on his shirt in Yellow and he has never had a tail. Thank you, I hope you find yours and please know that someone else is also on the search for you.
I am still looking for “Puppy Love”.
I don’t have much money, but would be willing to
pay for him.
Please, please help.
Angela
I have one. He is a little ragged. Got him in 1974 from my mom.
David,
i also sent you a reply from my email, but wanted to reach out to you to see what you are asking for this and if you have a picture.
Thanks so much,
Angela
David, I never heard back from you.
YES I do want the dog, if you are willing to part with it, just tell me what price you are asking and when you can ship it. I will pay you with Paypal.
Please respond one way or the other so I know if I will need to keep looking.
Thank you,
Angela

Angela wanted you to get this:
Dear Kathy,
Thank you for locating my Puppy Love for me!
I won the Ebay bid for him, and he is on his way out to me as we speak.
Again, thank you, I have been looking for him for years.
Thanks again,
Angela
Look at customtoyportrait.com. There is a portrait of Puppy Love that is just adorable!! Personally I like this idea better than having an actual toy owned by someone else.

Hi. I preferred to have a pic of a painting rather than someone else’s old stuffed animal (it’s not the same as having yours back) Go to Your Toy Portrait website and look up Puppy Love – it’s adorable and a great way to keep your Puppy Love in your room.

I am looking as well. Received it as baby in 1973. Got me through many hardships.
