Searching – GANZ Cream Baby Bundle Security Blanket Lovey Puppy Dog
I’m looking for a GANZ Cream Baby Bundle Security Blanket Lovey Puppy Dog. It has a stuffed brown and tan dog head and an attached blanket with a satin edge that measures about 22″ X 25″.
“Doggie” was a lovey that I purchased for my daughter Hannah when she was 1. 5 years ago I found it on a bargain table at an expensive boutique that I would normally never buy anything at. It had the name Christopher embroidered on it so I’m thinking someone decided it didn’t turn out the way they wanted and the store had to put it on the bargain table. Hannah didn’t care – she loved it!
Hannah slept with and carried doggie everywhere with her until last Christmas when she accidentally left him in an airport or on a plane. She was 5 at that point (6 now) and was devastated. I called/emailed the airports and airlines but came up with nothing. Although we want our children to learn about loss at some point, she goes to bed 95% of the time crying for him. She says it “hurts so bad” and she will never be the same. I can see the pain in her face every time she asks if the airports are still looking for him. To top it off, her Dad left when she was 1, so Doggie came along at an important time for her.
I’d definitely pay to even get a used one and have been searching all year. However, the only thing I can come up with it an expired listing on ebay where the exact lovey was sold last summer.
Thanks,
Heather

Hi Why don’t you contact the person who purchased the blanket on e bay and ask if they still have it and if so could you buy it? Its unlikely another child will have got as attached to it as yours was… Just a thought???

Thank you Pauline – I did not think of that! I just emailed the ebay member. Fingers crossed.

I’ve tried that before in the process of trying to help one of our Top Priority searchers. The seller told me it was against eBay policy and would get them booted off. So it will be interesting to see if you get the same reply or not.
