LOST Orange Village, OH 12/25/08 -12/26/08 Searching – Baby GUND Blue & Yellow SPRINKLES COW
Hi, my 4 yr old son lost his “cowie” somewhere in Orange Village, OH between 12/25/08 -12/26/08. I have a back-up, but would love to find the original or another “VERY LOVED” one…I DO already have a new replacement (or 2), but am hoping to find the original or one “LOVED” like it. He misses the “brown” ears specifically that he used to comfort himself during the day & at bedtime. He has his replacement already, so I don’t need to buy a new one, but cries because he misses “cowie”. I know finding the original one is a longshot… but, it’s worth a try. We’ve already gone back to the hotel we stayed at & will go a few times again… in the meantime, I thought I’d see if your site would be helpful.
Thanks!
Kara

Thanks ANON. I had already sent that one to her, but I don’t know if she plans to get it or not.

This is what I do when I make collectible “vintaged” teddy bears. Of course the fur would’ve been mohair instead of plush. But you can try the tea staining method on the ears or any other areas you see fit. Keep in mind that you might have to redo it if the cow got washed. Good luck.

One of the parents who bought from us made hers “as good as old.” I’ve always liked that phrase. Thanks for the link, Anastasia. I’m sure there are plenty of parents who could use some of these tips.
