70's MATTEL NAPPER Pound Puppy Type BROWN & TAN TALKING DOG

Teresa has written that this is a 70’s Mattel Napper dog that Roxann is looking for.

The photo is of a Napper dog, but may be the wrong color.

My oldest son had a stuffed puppy that resembled a Pound Puppy. When you gave it a hug it talked. The dog was brown and light tan I think, and it said a couple of phrases, such as I Love You and I Need a Hug.

He would really like to get one for his daughter, but he can’t remember what it was called. It was sold in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s. I believe it was the 1970’s.

If anyone can tell me the name of this toy I would really appreciate it.
