DISCONTINUED – Eden?? DARK BLUE TERRY ELEPHANT with GINGHAM EARS & FEET
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.Elloo was my daughter’s favourite toy. Elloo was quite a dark blue and might be an Eden. The main material was sort of like a facecloth, rather than smooth. I can’t remember now where he came from.
I visited London with my daughter and son back in 2003. I left my rucksack on a bus, with all our clothes, cameras, everything, but most importantly Elloo.
We did everything to search, contacted all the right people, stayed an extra day, hung around the bus depot in North London and all sorts.
It is now six years later, but my daughter has not forgotten Elloo. We lost him at a difficult time, when my marriage to their mother was breaking down, and I think Elloo has become a bit of a symbol of this. Things are still hard between me and the children, and just maybe, if I could somehow find a replacement Elloo, it might help.
Thanks if anyone by any remarkeable chance recognises Elloo and has an idea where I could find another.
Andy

Wow, people still looking after all this time! I’m touched.
That one looks similar, but not exactly the same.
I’ve since been reminded that my daughter’s mum sewed the gingham on herself when Elloo got a bit worn, so it probably didn’t look quite like that originally anyway.
My daughter is getting older now and I don’t think she would want a replacement, so you can stop looking!
Of course, if the actual Elloo that we lost in London eight years ago miraculously turned up somehow then we would want to get that back, but not a similar-looking replacement.
Thanks again, though, for being so thoughtful to post your message.
