9 Days after Christmas ’09, (my daughter has it marked on her calendar that’s how I know the exact date) we were traveling home from a family vacation by plane and my 4th grader left her “baby” wrapped in a plane blanket behind. We realized this when picking up our luggage. We were not allowed to go back and search for her, due to security. The plane’s cleaning service said that they did not find her.“Baby” has been my daughter’s favorite toy since birth and has seen her through day care, first days of school, doctor visits, vacations, tests, and many other firsts. She still every couple of weeks can be heard crying herself to sleep over losing “Baby.”
Baby was an OshKosh doll. She was a Baby B’gosh doll. She was about 10 inches in length and was plush pink. Our version was practically see through and was faded pink. She had an attached bonnet with yellow yarn bangs hanging out the front. She had mitten like hands and feet, minus the thumbs. On her front was written baby b’gosh.
She was lost on a Continental flight that landed in Newark Airport in NJ. My heart breaks when my daughter still cries over her loss.
Any ideas as to where I can find a replacement of the same doll??
Thanks,
Linda
