My daughter adored her Jammie Pie Winkum doll (the red and yellow doll) between the ages of 1-4. She never went anywhere without it. Then one day we couldn’t find it. We searched high and low to no avail. It was a very traumatic time for her. To this day we never solved the mystery of the missing Jammie Pie.
She is now almost 18 years old and will be graduating from high school next June. I am making my daughter a Creative Memories scrapbook for her high school graduation next June. The scrapbook will include her lost Jammie Pie tale. I had the thought that it would be a wonderful addition to present her with her “lost” Jammie Pie. She could even take it to college with her.
I’ve looked on eBay and the prices are sky high. I had no idea that the Jammie Pies were such collector’s items and so expensive. I’m just a mom whose daughter had a strong emotional tie to Jammie Pie.
