Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders, we now know that it is a 1986 Mattel Huggy, or Huggie Buddy Feelin’ Specials Dog.

I am looking for a stuffed dog that I had when I was a child. It was passed through the family and lost somewhere along the line.

He is a brown dog with large, dark brown ears. He has a little pink heart on his chest. He has a button inside both ears, both arms, his tail and both feet. Whe you press either the tail or either ear, he says, “Ow! It hurts, it hurts!”. When you press his feet and stomach he begins to laugh and says, “HeeHeeHee! That tickles!” and when you press his hand he says, “I’m a good buddy, I’m you huggy” (or something like that).

All I can remember is that I called him Henry. My mother tells me stories about me waking her up at night, because I rolled on him when I was asleep, and all she would hear is, “Hee Hee That tickles!”

This is a picture I found on the internet of someone trying to find out what kind of plush animal he is. It’s the only one I have – all my pictures from my childhood were lost/damaged. So finding this dog would be so perfect to have.
