Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders, we now have a photo of the actual dog Addie is searching for.

I’m looking for a very large plush dark brown dog (often mistaken for a bear). It is floppy with a paisley bow-tie, giant feet and very scruffy. Some eBay searches have shown that it could be either Commonwealth or EUC (unless anyone else thinks otherwise).

Scott was parked in front of the tree on Christmas morning, and despite him being the size of me, I took him everywhere. Even when I grew to be double his size I still had him when I was moving house during college. Several years ago in the process of moving I accidentally donated a bag to Goodwill that had all my ever so loved stuffed animals. I’ve managed to replace most of them (not the same – but if you bought any cats or a musical clown at a Goodwill in the past 5 years then I’d like to talk), but Scott still eludes me.

Losing that bag of childhood memories was one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life, and while it may never be the same, having such a way to get a piece of them back is so comforting.
