When I was about a month old, 1985, my God Mother gifted me a stuffed dog, manufactured for Valentines Day 1985. I had it for almost 3 years, and one night I was at a friend’s house and their dad got angry and threw it away while I was sleeping. He said that at 3 I was too old for a “security” thing.

By the time Mom realized it was gone the trash had gone out, and it was never seen again. According to my Mom I cried every night for a month and wanted nothing but my “Puppy love”. Mom never forgave the guy for throwing it away… and they aren’t even friends anymore… but I think there may have been deeper issues.

I want to find this toy for my Mom more than anything… it means so much to her that every Valentine’s Day since she has looked and looked, hoping that an anniversary remake will come out… it never has.

The toy was a pillow, about 6-8 inches, heart shaped, red, with white lace around the outside. There was a small plush dog sewn to the top. The dog was white with a red nose, tail and ears. The words “Puppy Love” were embroidered at the dog’s feet.

If you can find any information on this… it would be a miracle!
