I’m looking for the red and white striped Beech Nut horse from the Beechnut Gum cartoon commercials. The animals from the commercial were available through the mail.
My sister and I each had a Beechnut gum plush when we were kids. We loved our critters, and they were extra special as that was quite a treat to have Mom send away for them for us during some hard times. Somehow we both lost track of them, and from time to time this comes up in our conversations.
I would absolutely love to be able to gift her with a horse for Christmas. (Yeah, I know, why don’t I start looking Christmas Eve, right?) Well, you never know – someone might have one out there! While you’re looking, mine was the orange and white striped mouse!
