Hi! I received my Snuggle Loves plush today in the mail =) She definitely looks a lot newer than the one I have, lol. Thank you so much for all your help! =) I’ll be checking your site often, hopefully I can help someone find their lost toy too =)
Thanks again!
Melissa
I’ve had this plush puppy, Lucky (not her real name, my dad helped me name her when I got her), since I was 4 (19 years and counting), and she’s become a part of the family. All of my little cousins have played with her and have used her nose as a teether. For as long as I’ve had her, I have known nothing about her and have desperately been trying to figure out who made her and where she came from. I’ve also been trying to find another one because my little cousin would love to have one of her own and I would like to have another for the future since Lucky has been over loved and is showing her age, and I’m not sure how long she can hold up.
My mom purchased her at a toy store (I think it might have been Toys R Us or Children’s Palace) around Easter back in 1990, Lucky was in the clearance bin so she’d probably have been at the store for a while. She came in a cardboard chair-like packaging and wore a blue bib which is attached to her face and matching underwear, which Lucky no longer wears, but I still have them.
Her tush tag is long gone, so I have no idea who made her, and I’ve only known of one other person who has one; my cousin’s friend’s sister had one, but my cousin never thought to look at the tag or packaging.
My family and I have a strong emotional attachment to this particular plush and we’ve haven’t found a plush that looks anything like her.
If you have any information on where to find another one, or who made her, or her history, please let me know.
Thanks for your help =)
Melissa
