Thank you to all those who were kind enough to comment and email with possible replacements for his Snoopy. Mama says they now have one close enough to be a replacement if it is ever needed.
We’re looking for a late 70’s or early 80’s, and possibly even older, firmly stuffed Snoopy. The tag says ©1968 UNITED FEATURE SYNDICATE, INC. PRODUCT OF KOREA REG. NOS. PA219-CA16113 ALL NEW MATERIALS CONTENT:KAPOK SHREDDED CLIPPINGS. It does NOT have the Snoopy patch on the tush. He is between 12 and 13 inches, although he is probably deflated and elongated from wear and his fur is certainly nappy from love.
We’re trying to find a backup for a friend of ours for her little boy. He has a brain tumor and is a precious child. The Snoopy was his Mama’s, but he has taken it over. She says that it is his Snoopy, and not Mama and Daddy, who comforts him when he feels bad or gets a booboo.
With all the doctor and hospital trips this little fellow has to make, it would give his Mama and Daddy a little piece of mind to know they had a backup already in hand.
We found item 250874418408 on eBay that she says is very close, and she’s considering getting it, even though it is not the correct one.
